Come discover the bohemian neighbourhood of Quebec
During this 2.5 hour walking tour, we’ll explore the Faubourg, as it is known to locals. One of the earliest neighbourhoods developed just outside the fortifications of Quebec, it was populated with specialized artisans and professionals who worked in or just outside Old Quebec. Like many other urban areas of Quebec, it suffered a suburban exodus in the 1960s and 70s. It quickly got back on its feet and welcomed young social-conscious families at the end of the 1980s. It is today an eclectic and avant-garde area to visit and live in.
